Vapi is the largest city of the Valsad district in the state of Gujarat. Also known as Wapi, the city is a municipality and a taluka or a sub division of Valsad district. Vapi Area Development Authority

With increasing number of industries, the need for more townships has arisen in Vapi. VADA or the Vapi Area Development Authority is an organization whose prime role is urban planning and development. It has established several residential sectors in the Vapi Industrial Estate. All these townships are equipped with modern facilities, lawns and parks. The Vapi Area Development Authority is supervised by the Urban Development and Urban Housing Department of Gujarat.

Sub Treasury of Vapi

The Mamlatdar is a Sub-Treasury Officer who handles the treasury of the Vapi taluka. He collects tagai loans, land revenue, irrigation revenue, pot hissa measurement fees and other such revenues.
